ARIEL KIRK, RN, CANS, LMA

RN Aesthetic Nurse

As a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS), Ariel is certified in her field of nursing and has passed the rigorous CANS Exam. She exceeds the minimum requirements required to sit for the exam, including: practice hours, nursing experience and working in two of the core specialties, Plastic Surgery and Dermatology. She is an advanced practice Ultherapist, is considered an expert in Ultherapy® and performs all of the Ultherapy® treatments in our office. Additionally, she is a Clinical Educator for Ulthera and travels to train other practices. Ariel is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses and Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists.

Ariel works with Dr. Delgado to deliver the highest standard of minimally and non-invasive treatments customized to meet each patients goal. She has received extensive training in cosmetic Neurotoxins and fillers through Allergan, Medicis and Merz Aesthetic, and is highly skilled at injecting: BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport®, JUVÉDERM®, and RADIESSE®. She commonly incorporates medical grade skin peels, Ultherapy®, Intense Pulse Light, Nd:YAG and laser resurfacing. Ariel finds her job very rewarding and specializes in combining a variety of treatment techniques to yield a conservative and restored look.

LIZ FERGUSON

Administrative Services

Originally raised and schooled in the San Francisco Bay area, Liz went to Barcelona, Spain in 1987 to attend the Escuela Official de Idiomas to study Spanish and Catalan languages. Liz continued her education earning a B.A. in Legal Studies at U.C. Berkeley and a certificate in Legal/Court Interpreting for English/Spanish from SFSU College of Extended Learning. After several years of freelance Interpreting Liz began work as a Medical Receptionist at a very busy practice in Mill Valley, California.
Currently Liz is enjoying a peaceful lifestyle with her husband and daughter in Marin, California. Liz joined Dr. Delgado’s team in 2011 with over five years of medical reception experience. She loves meeting new patients and is happy to answer question and interpret for our Spanish speaking clients.

CHELSIE SMITH

Patient Coordinator

Chelsie was born and raised here in Marin County; however she has spent a lot of time in Portland, Oregon where most of her family is originally from. Chelsie has worked within the medical office environment for over 12 years, which has inspired her strong passion for providing above and beyond customer service and patient care. Previously Chelsie worked her way up from Receptionist at a Physical Therapy clinic, to become the Business Manager of all four of their Physical Therapy clinics and now works as our Patient Coordinator here in Novato. Chelsie is also a certified Yoga instructor and a huge dog and animal lover. She loves all things outdoors so naturally her favorite thing to do is take her four dogs hiking and exploring new trails!

WENDY MANFREDONIA

Patient Coordinator

Wendy was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Phoenix, Arizona following graduation from high school. She attended Southwestern Preparatory School for Medical Assisting. Wendy found her passion in the Front Office/ Management aspect. After doing an internship in General Surgery she was hired and remained employed at the practice for 12 years. Wendy relocated to the San Francisco Bay area and began working in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery field. She has been a surgical coordinator, office manager and is currently a part-time patient coordinator for Dr. Delgado.

Wendy has been a member of Dr. Delgado’s team since 2005. Her interests are cooking and entertaining, gardening, boating and being anywhere near the ocean. She is an avid traveler and has a passion for working out as much as she can! Wendy is also the President/CEO of a General Contracting, Plumbing and Electrical Company. She is also involved in “Stella and Dot” Jewelry line as a stylist.

GHAZAL SARIASLANI

Ghazal is our CoolSculpting Specialist. She is highly educated in fat freezing and is a well respected expert in her specialty. Ghazal has been our sole CoolSculpting provider since it first came onto the market some years back and she also works in our O.R.! Her background as a Medical Assistant and Surgical Technologist contributes to her wealth of knowledge and she is very successful at targeting treatments to each patients unique body type and their desired outcomes. Ghazal is dedicated to customer satisfaction and her patients experience from start to finish.

CAROL A. GORDON

RN Head Nurse

Carol A. Gordon has been an RN since 1976. 30 years of this was spent at Marin General Hospital. She has a nursing degree from College of Marin and a bachelor‘s degree from Saint Mary’s College. Carol has been a resident of Marin County for 48 years and graduated from Terra Linda High School. She enjoys her horses, dog and husband. (Not in that order depending on the day)! Carol retired from full time work in August 2007. She has worked part time as a member of Dr. Delgado’s staff from May 2001 to date.

She is also a former satisfied patient. Her background includes; post anesthesia care, outpatient surgery, endoscopy and minor surgery. At Dr. Delgado‘s office her primary role is recovery nurse and OR circulating nurse. Carol enjoys her work and working with all of Dr. Delgado’s staff. As she calls it her “fun job”, she truly enjoys her work and the other staff members.

ERIKA, RN

RN Head Nurse

Originally from the Los Angeles area Erika moved to the north bay with her family in 1995. After graduating from SUNY nursing school in 2005 she returned back to Sonoma County to begin her nursing career. Erika worked in Labor and Delivery for 13 years before the opportunity arose to work for Dr. Delgado. Starting in 2016 as our Director of Nursing Erika is an expert in all roles of the operating room and facility accreditation.

Her passion to provide safe patient-centered care shows with her attention to detail to ensure our operating room maintains the highest quality standards and accreditations. She has two young children, ages 6 and 9, and a husband who keep her very busy. When not in the office you can find Erika traveling with her family, hiking, reading, baking, and the beach.

MO LATHWANI, RN

RN Recovery Nurse

Modupe (AKA Mo) was born & raised in Nigeria, she moved to the united states over 20years ago. She has a BSc in Mass communication & journalism; a MSc in Library Sciences & Research Studies & changed Career to Nursing in 2010 because of her passion for people, health & wellness. She joined our practice in 2017. Mo has lived in Marin county since 2007.

Modupe has practiced & continues to practice Nursing at all three UCSF campuses, the Sutter Health system & has worked for other plastic surgeons in California. She has worked in various departments ranging from OB, MedSurg, Periop & Post Anesthesia care; she is currently our Post-op RN here at Marin cosmetic Surgery Center.

Modupe, RN is proud to be a part of the Marin Cosmetic Surgery team. In her words… “My biggest role as a postop RN is that of advocate, helper & whatever else it takes to help my patients go from surgery through recovery in a very calm & unrushed manner. I believe empowering the patient is the best way for them to be equipped to recover well.” Modupe knows that at MCSC she is working with doctors & colleagues who operate with the same goal of delivering the highest quality care that is best for the patient as every patient is different. Her passion for nursing translates to exceptional care.

Modupe says that Nursing practice has afforded her the privilege of helping people in their most vulnerable moments, I do not take that for granted. So, whether practicing nursing, working with teenagers at my local church or volunteering with my kids high school class; Modupe consistently works to help others with enthusiasm, optimum skills and expertise.

Modupe loves to read, cook, entertain & host parties & has travelled a bit & continues to travel to learn about people & different cultures.

I have been a been a surgical technician for 15 years, with experience working in hospitals, surgical centers and for the last 9 years I have been working with Dr Delgado. We have a great team and I really enjoy what I do.

Elizabeth M. Delima

Nurse

Elizabeth M. Delima was born and raised in Santa Rosa California. She knew from a young age that she wanted to be a nurse and take care of people. She started in the medical field when she was 17 years old and worked as a nurse assistant caring for children with severe disabilities. She started working for Sutter Hospital in 2002 as an Obstetrics Technician. She graduated from the Santa Rosa Junior College in 2013 as a registered nurse. She currently works in Labor and Delivery at Sutter Hospital. She started working at Dr Delgado’s office in 2018; she loves getting to meet new people and observing Dr Delgado’s life changing transformations. Elizabeth is so thankful to have found a career that allows her to be a part of such an outstanding team. Elizabeth currently lives in Sonoma County with her husband, son, and mini farm.
